Asean Uni Games 2009 Schedule

Zakat Fitrah

Salam all,

The zakat fitrah for this year will be $3 per person. The collected amount of Zakat-ul-Fitr money for will be sent to Indonesia and Zimbabwe to feed poor people.

Anyone yg kan bayar Zakat,
can pass the money to Mirza (contact detail: 0430489600 or email: mza_ji@hotmail.com) and he will submit to MSA-UQ (Muslim Student Association - UQ) one day before eid.

OR

GU students you can put your Zakat money in the donation box at Nathan Musala (Surau). The box is titled "Zakat Al-Fitr".

With cooperation with MSA-UQ and MSA-QUT, GUMSA is collecting Zakat Al-Fitr money. It is $3 per person. The collected amount of Zakat-ul-Fitr money for the three MSAs will be sent to Indonesia and Zimbabwe to feed poor people.

• Please put your Zakat money in the donation box at Nathan Musala. The box is titeled: “Zakat Al-Fitr”.

• Please rember before putting your Zakat money in the donation box, WRITE how much do you pay and for how many people are in the informational sheet beside the donation box! For example, someone might give $15 for himself. That means 5 poor people should be fed! Whereas if we keep a proper tally, we can get rice for one person and the excess $12 can be distributed as cash and be used for other charitable projects.
